Faraday Celebration

December 21 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Micheal Fraday was a man of god and a man of science. He believed that through science we could find the hidden secrets god had left for man to uncover. When he was named Director of the Royal Institution 1825, he started the Christmas Lectures: a series of science lectures as a form of entertainment. These lectures are still performed today. In 2016, Catalyst Space started our own version of this tradition called the Faraday Celebration. The goal was to bring science in the form of entertainment to the local community.

Join the Penn Cambria students of STEM Squad as they honor Michael Faraday. We will do demonstrations, experiments & presentations to display our skills and raise money for our Botball Robotics Program.

COST: FREE (Donations Encouraged)

Take a break from the Christmas rush to attend the program and support the group. We have worked hard to put together science experiments that will trick the mind and show the beauty in understanding this world. From visual mysteries to audio illusions, check out what will sink and what will go up in smoke!

While this presentation is a completely free and open to the public, your donations help this club to explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

We hope to see you there and thank you for your support.
